Shipping Label

A shipping label is a physical document that is very crucial for successful shipping. Shipping label consists of all the necessary information such as the origin address, a destination address, tracking Barcode, etc that guides delivery agents and various stakeholders from picking up the shipment to the final delivery, It is very important for the sellers to carefully stick the label on the shipment to avoid failed deliveries, missing or lost goods, stc.



COD Remittance Cycle

The cycle or frequency at which COD remittance is processed is known as the COD remittance cycle. There are two components to COD remittance cycles - Frequency of remittnace and Delay in remittance. Frequency of remittance (measured in days per week) refers to how many times remittance is processed within a week Delay in remittance refers to the number of days post delviery after which the remittance becomes liable to be processed by the courier partner to the seller. For instance if the seller is on a twice a week 7 day deferred cycle, that would mean remittance against a shipment becomes due 7 days post delivery of the shipment and is processed in tranches two time a week.



Order Allocation Engine

Order allocation engine refers to assigning of order pickup to relevant warehouse. A business may be operating from multiple warehouses, order is assigned to a particular warehouse based on multiple factors such as type of product, delivery location, etc.


